Hello all! I'm new to the site and just joined. I actually worked with Tedy on his book "Never Give Up" and became an instant fan of his and of the Patriots. It's tough being a Pats fan in New York, but so far I haven't been jumped! Actually- on Mrs. B's picture page- I'm in one of the pictures! The one standing next to Tedy at his book signing at Borders in Braintree, MA. It's great to see so many people love Tedy, because he's one of the most amazing people I've ever worked with. Glad to be here!! xoxo

Thanks so much for the wonderful welcome!
And yes, definitely get his book. It's a GREAT one. So inspiring- When you read it, you feel like he's in your living room telling you his life story. It's just exactly who he is.
And thanks again for the welcome! Glad to finally find some Pats/Tedy fans that I can talk to! ;D

Welcome to the board!
I'm the oddball here, apparently, but I still feel like being part of the welcoming committee.

Welcome to the site! Were you at the signing at Brookline Booksmith as well? If so I was the guy w/the Connecticut license plate around my neck (PATS.54) w/my wife. You look a little familiar from the pic in Mr's B's photo's. You're very lucky to work with him and it was an amazing book!

OMG This is so great!! Yes!! I remember you and your wife! I'm glad you liked the book! It's obviously one of my favorites. And yes, I tell Tedy all the time what an honor it is to work with him. He defines "the best" and I feel so blessed to know him.
PS- All the signings were wonderful, but Brookline Booksmith was definitely one of Tedy's favorites. And I'm not just saying that. Because of fans like you, and their amazing staff that he connected with afterwards, it was a really great experience for him. So thanks for coming out!! PPS- I posted a couple pictures of him after the signing at Brookline in the backroom when he was signing stock. They are posted in the "Tedy Picture" thread.

Wow, I can't believe I found a board dedicated to Tedy Bruschi.
I discovered the book "Never Give Up" before I discovered Tedy. (and could someone please tell me the correct pronunciation for his last name??) I found the book in a Border's and thumbed through it ... I did not buy it then, but I am buying it today :-) I would have loved to have found a book signing and would have went to get one in Boston or wherever (even though I am in NY) ... but I have not seen one recently.
Tedy inspires me and I love seeing his smile. I am a woman with MS who is strong-willed and does not give up easily. On January 9th I go into the hospital for a thyroidectomy and suspicious nodule (suspicious for thyroid cancer). I won't let that knock me down either. I am intending to start martial arts classes (Combat Hapkido) once my neck heals enough. That is my goal.
I am going to buy Tedy's book and have it in my arms and in the hospital with me. I'm going to start reading it today (once I pick up a copy) and will use his story as inspiration. I am already inspired by it.
I just wanted to stop by and say "hello". Tedy needs to know he inspires lots of different people. I've been a Redskins fan my whole life and have always loved the Pats second. But there is something about Tedy that transcends that.
Keep smiling!

Hey, Diana!
Welcome to the board. His last name is pronounced brew-ski.
I studied Hapkido for awhile, but my instructor moved away.
My prayers for you, Diana.
Nice meetin' ya.
