I live in New York. I live in an area that is home to two teams- Giants and the Jets. I don't have a problem with the Giants, but I CAN NOT STAND the Jets. And of course, I am surrounded by freaking Jets fans. This is frustrating beyond words. 1- They don't even have their own Stadium! They play at GIANTS stadium. 2- They haven't won a ring since 1969 and Joe Namath is their claim to fame. Go model some more pantyhose. 3- They are cry babies and whiners and started the entire "spy-gate" scandal. Way to spit in the face of the man who taught you everything you know, Mangini. 4- They boo their own Quarterback (Pennington)...so classy. 5- I absolutely can't stand how Jets fans root against the Patriots just because they're bitter, ignorant, and jealous. Sorry, I just had to vent. It's rare that I meet a Pats fan around here so I figured I could vent to you guys about it! I really hope the Pats shut the Steelers and critics up today!

They sure did! Pats beat Squealers 34-13. And they said the crowd was chanting "Gua-ran-tee" lol! Did anybody hear Belichick in his postgame press conference saying that we'd played against better safeties than the guy who made the guarantee? I guess you can say that when you're 13-0. Ba. Da. Bing. And what do we have left? Jets (who suck) Dolphins (who really suck) Giants (who always have to potential to suck because they have the wrong Manning) I've mentioned before on this board that my dad roots for the NYG (my parents are from NJ) so to be honest I don't have much of a problem with them either. But even my dad thinks that Eli sucks, lol. But the last game is going to be on NFL Network! Gah! As for Womangini and the Jets next week? I hope we pulverize them ;D.

Notinourhouse54- I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship lol. I agree with pretty much everything you said lol. I love when our boys shut people up by PLAYING, not TALKING. Dear Anthony Smith, How many times did you get beat yesterday? Jackass. Dear Tom Jackson, What was that you said about our defense being old and tired? Idiot. As for the Giants/Pats game- It's on the NFL Network but if you live in the New York/New England area- it will be covered locally. I will be leaving for a cruise on the 29th so I'm praying that a bar on the ship is playing the game!! ****Also- Tedy and Michael Holley will be at the Macy's in Braintree on Tuesday, 12/11. If you make a purchase of $150 or more, you can meet both authors and get a free book- signed by both of them. Go out and support! I'm not working this particular event, but it should be a good one! xoxo*****

Nice post, gopats! I did not see any of yesterday's game due to the fact that I was Christmas shopping and running errands, but I would have really liked to. NIOH, I like the sentiment under your avatar! Keep Jacoby! CarrollsMine99.

;D Notinourhouse54- I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship lol.
I agree with pretty much everything you said lol. I love when our boys shut people up by PLAYING, not TALKING. Kewl . Y'know, one of my teachers today was saying that people tend to stick to websites where everybody agrees with them. Ain't it the truth . Gah, I know! I get so p'oed when people talk about how old our LBs or defense in general is. Not that this is at all related to the fact that Tedy is 34 and I love him to death, or anything ;D. Really? Yay!

Ron Jaworski hasn't exactly made friends with Patriots Nation either. Wasn't that MNF crew awful? I honestly think that every broadcaster is going to be rooting against us for the rest of the year.

It's my understanding that this is all because Belichick is VERY misunderstood. He just is very private and doesn't give the media anything....and doesn't allow his players to either....which i LOVE.
Tom Jackson is an ASS and knows that Belichick hates him....as for MNF- the only man that should call a football game in my opinion is John Madden. No one else has any idea what they're talking about LOL.
Right now I am so royally pissed with the NFL. They just moved the Miami/Pats game to 4:15pm! AGAIN the same time as the freaking Jets so I won't be able to watch it here. So pissed. Freaking Jets.

Oy. They probably would have moved it further if we hadn't already had 3 night games in a row . Maybe the NFL was trying to tire out the Pats to make them lose, lol. Long live conspiracy theories! ;D Yeah, probably because he kisses Brady's butt all the time, lol! Speaking of Tommy, I bet he breaks Peyturd Girlymanning's record next week! Yeah that's what we call Peyton Manning around here. Aren't we good?

HAHAHAHAHA Yea- they totally would have given them another night game but a team can only play so many night games and the Pats already met their maximum. I just want to see them BEAT the Dolphins while Shula watches! As for MNF- Mayyybeee that's why I love John Madden! lol. He is a big fan of Tommy hehe. And yea- I think he'll def break the record and it would be AWESOME if it was against the Jets. I have a new found respect for Big Ben though- after the Steelers game, he congratulated Tom and told him how much fun he's been to watch this year and he hopes Tom breaks the record next week. ;D And you.guys.are.awesome!! Love that nickname. I have nothing really against Peyton as a QB, but I, obviously, can't stand the Colts.

Peyton-bashing is, like, a hobby around here, lol. (And I believe yours truly came up with the "Peyturd" part.) Anyway, allow me to demonstrate with on of our favorite pix of all time: It's Tedy sacking Manning during the 20-3 spanking we gave the Colts in the '04 playoffs. It was one of the first games I really watched as a fan, and I think the one in which I really fell in love with Tedy. (Yeah I'm a newbie....maybe a bit of a bandwagoner, but oh well.) Anybody remember when he totally ripped the ball out of that other guy's hands? That was AWESOME!

HAHAHA. LOVE that picture. Saw it on the Picture post as well.
Well, I was never really into the NFL until I met Tedy (which was before this season started). I instantly became a fan of his, but told him my dad was a huge Giants fan. He said "Keira, you can be a fan of two teams. It's allowed". Then Michael Holley told me to read Patriot Reign- so I did and became an instant die-hard fan of the Patriots. I'm so into the NFL now as well. I read up on all the games and teams, but have more respect for the Patriots then anyone else.
Anyone who tells me I'm a bandwagoner, I say this- I'm from NEW YORK and became a fan of a team that was under intense scrutiny the first two months I was a fan. It's not easy rooting for the Patriots around here let me tell you. If I was jumping on a bandwagon, I'd pick an easier team to root for in the Tri-state area!! lol. Plus, after knowing Tedy pretty well, you just can't root against him ;D
