Cool, you should post it. I actually got one with the world series trophy...it was part of something they were doing after my first-ever sox game in '05. (Speaking of things we've regretted, I didn't touch the trophy 'cause I didn't know if we were allowed to. I'll just have to catch it again this time! lol)

I seem to remember in '04 they took it to all 351 cities and towns in MA and hit all the NE states at least once. But since we've waited all of 3 years for this one they probably won't go as crazy, lol. It'd be awesome if they brought it to UNH where I go. Hell, there'd be enough of us to see it, wouldn't there?

That is what I had on my laptop - I had the icons lined up all around the border of the picture. This desktop just has the 'Fall' background because my mother likes it.

Ah, Shannon - it's not crazy, it's an awesome picture of the statue!
Yes, Chris, there's two of those book-ending each of the four entrances to BoA Stadium.
I took that picture on August 4th - it turned out SO MUCH better than I had anticipated, I LOVE the picture!

I meant crazy in a positive way. Like wow, etc. The eyes are insane.

The whole thing is! Lookit the whiskers, or the way the claws are gripping, preparing for the spring and the ensuing strike, etc., the lines of the craftsmanship, etc.
I love the picture!
I have some pictures of some of the other statues around the stadium as well - Beth's seen them.

True...the claws and teeth are realistic and it looks like it's going to bite your bleeping head off. It actually reminds me of one we have at UNH, though it's not as scary or anything. I don't remember if I posted a pic of it on the board or in a PM to Beth, but here it is anyway: It's not the greatest shot, but it's only about a year old and in friggin' little NH, it's not like there's gonna be a lot of pics of it, lol.
