He sure is. Oy. And the injury didn't even look that bad at first. I could always try to make you guys watch hockey if the winter gets too boring. Heck, the Bruins & Patriots's chances of winning a championship are about even now .

A couple things from an online mailbag I read today...so sad it was almost funny:
I'm sorry, but that was just perfect.

Yea- that's from Bill Simmons' column. God, I love him. That's exactly how I felt. In any case, I refuse to give up hope (I'm also not allowed to). haha BB HAS won TWO Super Bowls with "back-up QBs" before- those "back ups" were Tom Brady and Jeff Hostetler. We'll see what Cassel is made of this weekend. No one knew who Tom Brady was either when he took over for Drew. This team is king of "making adjustments" no matter how big those adjustments are. ;D Let's not give up hope just yet. Tommy's always had a great "supporting cast" and in the words of Mike Vrabel, "We've won a lot of football games around here. That's not going to change."

That's the spirit!
And um, sorry but who was Jeff Hostetler? Was that on another team?
In the meantime, hopefully that Adam quote in your sig is true, lol.

Yea- Hoss was with the Giants, but still. He won a ring as a back-up who had to step in and BB was part of that coaching staff as well.
And yea, I'm hoping Adam was right too. BUT I've been reassured by VERY inside sources (haha) that our Pats are going to be just fine. I sure hope so!

Gotta love those inside sources . edit: Oh, crap! Just saw a headline on boston.com that said "Sources: Brady tore both ACL and MCL" . *bangs head on keyboard* There's even a photo gallery of historically bad Boston sports injuries . Props to you for keeping the faith in enemy territory though! I can't imagine how happy all those moron NY fans are now .

yea- i can't comment on tom's knee/ligaments....but i can say they are aiming for a year recovery (that's without any complications) so *fingers crossed* for next season's opener. pray as well...can't hurt as for the NY idiots- yea, there were celebrations here. i'm just ignoring it and biting my tongue. revenge/redemption will be so sweet...whenever it happens!!!
