That's the Philly way. Do unto others then split !! The PATS arrived with one thing on their minds. The Iggles needed to trash talk to feel like they "may" have a chance.
A Temple Doctor mentioned a "panic" attack due to stress. To us it's a game. To the athletes it is life and death. Career in the NFL or flippin' burgers. Once the SB was over, I still had to get up the next day for work, win or lose.
The Philly fans are brutal. Win-and they'll love you to death, lose-and it's just death. As far as T.O. you have to respect the guy for all he did for the Iggles and how he came back from injury. I truly see a match-up next year of these two teams.

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of stress on a team that is in the Super Bowl, especially a team that hadn't been there in a long time and a team that has fans like Philly! I heard they will turn on you if you don't win?!

Where in Southeast PA, Wehoga? I live near Quakertown, and I wore my stuff too! ;D It is a dangerous occupation, and we should get hazard play. All the Iggles fans are annoyed about the mock flapping. They don't get it, they can dish it out but they can't take it. Philly is the city of unbrotherly shove, lol.

Wedge,
The Pats were only dominant at times, as were the Eagles. I thought the Eagles had a chance. I have noticed that the Patriots tend to be dominant for only as long as they had to be, and when it counted...at the end. And on a final note, it was my feeling that the mocking had more to do with Freddie than TO. Why would you go out of your way to insult and challenge a player like Rodney Harrison. Rodney has some where in the vicinity of $350,000 worth of fine for his play. It was a dumb move strategically. You had to know that it would be used in the Pat's locker room for a motivational tool. As to TO, he may be an awesome player, but as far as his attitude, it leaves him open to mockery. Nobody but home team likes it when their team members get mouthy, and TO is nothing if not mouthy. Also, when he said God cleared him to play was beyond over the top. God has more important things to do than football, like world peace and the like. Philly played a very tough game, and the fans should be proud. When your players lose a tough game, why do they turn on them? I have never seen so many players go off injured in any one game. It was a battlefield.

I believe they never give the MVP's to the right person. SB XXXVI I think 4 Adam should have got it, SB XXXVIII Deon desearved it, and for the SB XXXIX Rodney had it earned.
Well I don't get the final word but I do get an oppinion.
