I have heard the 911 tape at least three times since 6 o'clock. I haven't even been glued to the tube. Just puttering around the house. I so feel for the family. Hopefully an update with some good news is forthcoming.

As much as I wish I could be there sometimes, training camp and signings and all that, I dont think I would much like to turn my tv on and hear such painful things. To the lady whose sister is a nurse...please beg her on our behalf to go far out of her way to respect his families wishes and to provide them with every comfort she possibly can. Personally, I would rather not know anything than intrude on their private lives right now. God speed, Tedy.

Just got the official word from the Patriots Press Release...
Tedy has suffered a mild stroke, is in good condition, and wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and concern.

How horrible for him and his family. It is shocking that this could happen to such a young, healthy man. It is good to know that the press release said that he is in good condition. It is also good news that alot of the news releases are saying that he is good spirits.
Mrs B- thank you for the official get well card- I hope that Tedy will get the link and know that his BIGGEST fans (of couse we all are on this site) have been posting well wishes all day!

Oh gosh, I just barely heard about this, I've been busy for a while and this is very sad. I, however, am happy, he's doing alright.

I didn't see the news myself but my husband just told me that whatever news station he was watching said that Tedy was sent home. I'm assuming that's a good sign, yes?

I'm glad to hear that he seems to be doing well. Its so frightening for both he and his family.
I heard this morning he may be released this afternoon, but that the doctors are still putting together a long term medical plan.... All I can say is that I'm still praying for Tedy and his family and I wish them nothing but the best.

hey everyone! I just saw Tedy about a half hour ago on one of the sports channels as he was leaving the hospital. He looks tired but he still looks good! He did smile and wave to everyone. At least he is on his way home ; that is a good sign!
