This year our boy will be back and we're going all the way to the Superbowl. So maybe things will pick up. No need to be ashamed about obsessions. Hahaha what would we have to think about if we didn't have them?!?!?! I'm so bummed, I was actually supposed to go to a David Cook concert tonight in CT, but he had to cancel this show and one in NH last night because someone in his family is really sick. Poor guy, I feel so bad for him. I also feel a little bad for myself because I bought my tickets on ebay for $184 apiece since they were only on sale to the students at the college where he was going to be performing. Uh oh to no refunds. He's trying to reschedule, I hope it works out. Does anyone know when Pats tickets go on sale? I haven't been to a game in two seasons and this makes me really, really sad lol. Darn $40,000 a year college tuition! I've been here since December of 2002. That is EPIC! lol

*stumbles out of the cave that i have apparently been in since august 10th...* has it really been that long? my gosh. i'm sitting here doing some reading for one of my classes and all of a sudden this board popped into my head! it makes me happy to see that the two of you are keeping up the bergeron thread. how are you both?!?! and any other of the old regulars who may be lurking, although it looks like this thread is the only one alive on here anymore! SO much has happened since my last visit here. biggest thing? brady down for the season, obviously. i can't even explain to you how much i cried that day! also, i blame myself, and here's why: i have a new obsession (in addition to my trusty pats of course!). i fell in love with American Idol last season. on the day my boy got hurt, i was standing outside a concert venue trying to meet my two favorite idols! (by the way...i met jason castro, but have yet to meet david cook. still working on it!) i had a portable tv with me and was watching the game on that, and my dad still tells me to this day that had i been home watching the game on my usual tv, brady would have been fine! haha poor boy. here's hoping to a healthy season. i hope you both are doing well! i wanted to stop by and say that i haven't forgotten my pats friends.

Sounds super cute! I saw Tedy frolicking on the field with his kids after practice yesterday, they are so cute and getting so big!

What an idiot. I'm glad we released him. Nobody should put up with that kind of crap from a player...never mind that, nobody AT ALL should even be pulling something like that!

Eek. Though I frequent Boston (I only like 45 minutes away on the commuter rail line), I'm not sure of any place that would work for such a large group. Have you asked the people at the hotel for any suggestions? Even if you're not using their conference room, they might be able to offer some advice.

YES! The only downside is that I actually have a job this summer (I'm working at the concession stand at the zoo in my city) so there will be a lot of days that I can't go. Its ok though, I'm going to try to make it up every day that I'm not working!
