Haven't watched it yet (I'm at work so I will when I get home), but I've met Zip twice when he came out to some of the signings. The second time (in Acton), he brought his father with him who is in a wheelchair. We have video of Tedy and him (his father) sharing a really great moment and I got so choked up. I'm sure I will at this video too.
Thanks for sharing robd!

It is!??! That was in the back room at Willow and I thought we were the only ones with footage of it! I did give a copy to Tedy though- maybe he gave it to Zip?
In any case, I'll buy Kleenex on the way home for sure!

Just got home from work and the first thing I did was watch it.
I'm crying right now. Honestly, through the many events that I was at with Tedy- there was a TON of times that I got choked up. Many stroke survivors or people battling different illnesses came to show support. Tedy even needed to take a moment a couple times- just take a deep breathe - so he could move on to the next fan. It deeply touched him, and being a witness to that- it touched me too.
But that day at Willow Bookstore- it was chaotic with all the people. Tedy turned to me and said he wanted to take a short break (after like 2 hours of signing). So we went to the back and there was Zip and his dad. They came to the backroom with us and like I said, watching Tedy with Zip's dad was a complete honor. I got choked up and knew it was a really special moment. (my boss is actually the blonde in the background of the picture on the film clip).
I'm so freaking happy to hear that his father improved after seeing Tedy. That is amazing! Wow- HBO is awesome for featuring Zip. He really is the best. That video just made my day.
