WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! You go, girl!!! Keep it up, sistah!
I've only been able to get out there a couple of times last week due to not being home much. My life is crazy at this time of the year but I hope to start getting to bed early again so I can go back to working out at 5:00AM.... I soooo much prefer to start my day that way. It seems that if I don't get it done in the morning, too many other things are going on after school.

Congrats Tru! This is truly great news and you should be so proud of yourself!! I am also one of those crazy people at the gym at 5 AM Mrs B; but like yourself there is just no way I would be able to get there after work, & after shuffling my kids around to and from swim practice and every other activity they are involved in; plus the whole dinner/laundry routine...It is so hard to get up that early especially at this time of the year but I always feel so good afterwards...it is a good way to start the day. And I am usually able to squeeze in a short walk at lunchtime too; as long as the weather cooperates. Congrats again 1TruPatriot!!!

I walked 4 miles today. I havent been doing well, no more losses yet. Im disappointed in myself. And I just found out that they had a gathering last month WITH Tedy and I didnt hear about it and so missed a chance to meet him in person. SO disappointed. But i AM going to keep trying.

keep ur head up tru you should be proud of yourself for working hard to lose pounds and benefit a good cause. dang. that sounded too condescending. didn't mean it to . too bad about missing tedy though. i would be so P.O.ed.

But i AM going to keep trying. don't get discouraged...you lost a lot in the first week; now it may be a little slow for awhile but if you keep at it I am sure you will see another big loss. exercise is the best thing; not only does it help to lose the weight but I know for myself that it really makes a big difference in my day; if I skip a day at the gym I can get awfully crabby! keep going and don't give up; we can all do this together!!!

Please don't get discouraged Tru... the average weight loss over a month's time is 2 pounds per week so if you took off a lot the first week, it's just evening itself off. I haven't had much time to exercise this week myself but I've been trying to make up for it on the eating side.. (being extra good).
I can't remember whether or not you listen to podcasts but if you do here's a good one. Motivationtomove.com

You get crabby if you don't go to the gym? I think I'd be happy if I missed going to the gym.
