Finally saw two Tedy commercials today during the Steelers and Browns game... (dang Steelers!!). They must have been taped awhile ago cuz his hair is short. They were too cute... (Of course would I say anything else?!) The Nomar one was a riot... goofing on his glove adjusting habit! And Joe Thornton using his skate blade to slice a bagel....hehehe. There is a huge poster in the window of the DD of Tedy... I need to get my hands on that baby! I'll have to get the cop connection going when the promotion is done! My classroom wall is begging for it! Karen Time to Make the Donuts!

I tried to get the Tom Brady poster awile ago, but the manager there was firm in saying no. It made me mad because I bet all they did with it was throw it away!

Nahhhhh! The manager took it home!
When I went to DD tonight, not only is there that huge poster in the window but there is a cardboard advertisement card with a picture of Tedy peeling one of the cups with his SB ring on. My husband asked for it but they said the rules were on the back so they couldn't give it out (but to check back when the promotion was done.)
Still working on that cop/DD connection in the city where he works!
Karen <-----haven't won anything good yet!

My honey said it's a DONE DEAL! His connect said I could have it as soon as it's over!!!
My students will go crazy... They love Tedy and always ask about him. They sent him Get Well cards that they made when he got hurt twice this year and talk about him ALL the time.
We went on a field trip today and every time we went by a DD in the bus, they were yelling TEDY, TEDY!!
When he came to my room last year, the kids were beside themselves and still talk about it all the time. It was one of the biggest moments of their lives.
I really am so fortunate..... and I didn't even have to WIN with 15.5 Million to 1 odds!!

Taylor, I mentioned my (special needs) kids to Tedy early last season and they wrote him a letter. He told me a couple of times during the season that he would come to see them in the offseason. They literally talked about if every day.... and luckily my husband saw him during the offseason workout period and mentioned it to him. He took my number, called me and we set it up. I didn't inform the media or anything... it was just for my kids. I didn't tell the kids that he was coming just in case something came up and he couldn't make it. You should have seen them when he walked through the door!!! OMG... I wish I owned a video camera! They were jumping up and running to hug him.... "Tedy!!!" They still talk about it all the time, and anytime I get paged to the office for a visitor, they think it's Tedy...lol! They have NO clue just how lucky we were....they are so naive and don't understand how rare something like that was. I'm so thankful to Tedy and I don't know if he'll ever realize just how much he impacted my kids. Here are some pictures: www.patriotworld.com/TotallyTedy%20Photos/off%20field%20album.htmRead the letter on my front page.... Click it and make sure you click the arrow in the lower right corner to make it big enough to read. Karen
