I agree Jess! We have to somehow put it into perspective though! My son asked me what pre season is really for if the games don't " count". This is what- we have some kinks to work out and we need to get the "team" mentality back! The Bengals had something to prove- they HAD to beat the superbowl champs that "stole" their best player and show Cincy that they still are a worthwhile team w/o dillon. Too bad they wasted their win with a game that " didn't count"..... The regular season face off will end very differently!! Kathy ( who is wearing her Pats gear and keepin the faith!!)

Don't worry about a thing. The coaching staff has four months to prepare for the next encounter with the Bengals. The Bengals pretty much showed the Pats everything they had. The Pats showed them nothing. And there is nothing in the playbooks that could ever prepare the Bengals for the wrath of the NE fans. Just ask Peyton......

NHPATSFAN is right on. I think the Bengals opened the playbook for a preseason game. I'm depressed about the performance but realize a good a*( kicking in the preseason is probably a good thing. Belichick can focus on it with the team but in the big scheme it means nothing.

I think tonight will be a little different- The Panthers will try really hard and make silly mistakes to try to show that they can beat the Pats. I think they are still mad that we won the SB and that will cause them to have penalties and to open up Bruschi for a beautiful interception/touchdown!! Any other thoughts?

Why was Harrison so upset with Klecko? So much they had to call a time out. Did I miss something?
