Well..... no reason to watch the late news, no reason to watch Sportscenter round the clock....no reason to comb the sports sections online and in print....
What do you guys do to keep busy? Personally, I have a huge reading list of books that I want to get to. Of course I have that pile of mending that's been mounting...
Monday night I went to a Power Yoga class and OMG.... what a surprise it was! Definitely NOT a stretching/mellow out class. I did more pushups than I can count! I don't think there is a single muscle that's NOT sore even still. If you don't think you have triceps or obliques, take a class and the soreness will remind you! I loved it and will be taking more... but I'm anxious for the weather to warm up around here so I can go out and run.
Well... off to take the kids to the mall. Let me know what's up with you!
;D

We'll get to see Adam in the Pro Bowl on Sunday - that's the only bright spot left! But in a few weeks Spring Training will start for baseball, so I'll be getting into that. I just got into baseball about 2 years ago, so it still feels new to me, unlike football - my "native sport" lol I've been working out more the past 2 weeks. I used my weights one night and I was sore the rest of the week! "Power Yoga", hmmm? Sounds interesting. Sounds tortuous actually (lol) but it sounds like you'll get a lot out of it. I also want to get back into more walking. I love walking, but with the weather and the temperatures the way they've been lately, I haven't been able to do as much walking as usual. I finally got off the sugar this week! It's such a hard addiction to break, but it's also one of the most important things I can do for myself. I feel so much better already.

I absolutly love to run. I hate the cold weather, icy streets, sloppy snow. It's too much to run in. I can't wait till spring!

Once a week we go out for drinks and wings and lots of the boys go to our favorite watering hole. Last night we saw O.T.I.S. and Leonard Myers. Guess they're sticking around for the offseason....

LOL I was just thinking of O-T-I-S this morning as I was writing out my rent check. That's the name of the management company for my building. It's nice to know some of the guys are still around. Jess - spring will definitely be welcome around here this year! Just this week having the temps up around the freezing mark made it feel BALMY.

Well, it's getting close to not the offseason anymore, but I am still gonna write on this one, just to comment that i feel like I am going to lose it when SUndays roll around and there is nothing to watch on TV. I mean, you gotta admit, Sunday TV stinks. Well, primetime, not so much. YOu got the good Fox shows. NOt the Sopranos though, because their new season doesn't start until football season. it used to start in Jan/Feb...I liked that. I have no excuse to pig out and watch TV, so I play games on the internet most of the day LOL. Or sleep. I must admit, I do get a bit more rest in the offseason! BUt what's that worth with no Patriot happiness? LOL
