Lonie Paxton had a fund raiser last night at The Rack in Boston, so Al and I decided to go. We weren't in "fan mode" (lol) so I didn't bring a camera or anything; we just went out for a few drinks. They had the area roped off where the event was taking place but we were sitting at the bar. Around 10:00 I looked up and who did I see?!??! TEDY! I went over to the rope and waved to him and he came right over to say hello. He said "stay right there" and came back with wristbands for us to go in! We chatted for a little while and then he played some pool. Quite a few of the guys ended up coming ... I saw Brady, ( I was next to him most of the night but didn't say antything to him), Adam, Ken Walter, Antowain Smith, Christian Fauria, Stephen Neal, Antwan Harris,JR Redmond, J'Rod Cherry... that I can remember right now. I'm sure that more guys were there and more came but we left at midnight to go to our favorite club in Providence. I also got to finally meet Linh from AbsoluteBrady.com in person, so that was a bonus! Sometimes those unplanned nights prove to be the best times.... Now, it's off to the gym to work off some of the many Raspberry Cosmopolitans that I consumed! K

Oh yeah... Daniel Graham came in with Deion Branch and someone else that I didn't recognize right before we left. (I'm sure I'll remember more as the day goes on.)

Hi All!!! Oh Karen, that sounds like fun! That's cool that a lot of the guys were there - my 3 favorites, that's for sure. How nice of Tedy to get you guys in The place must've been mobbed, though?? I was gonna say, wish I had known about it, but I usually steer clear of the mob scenes... if I can help it ;D Actually I was in Pats mode last night. I had found a video of the 2001 season (I was in a used cd shop last weekend). I bought it for $7...watched it last night to make sure the tape was ok....it was more than ok - it was great lol My face hurt from smiling - I smiled & laughed all the way thru it. It was so great seeing all those great plays. Dummy me, I'm sitting there cheering them when someone has the ball and is heading to the end zone. Never mind this is a TAPE. I was still saying "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" And every time Adam was up to kick the game winner, I was crossing my fingers and saying, "oh please, oh please make it" DUH. Already knew the outcome - didn't matter one bit. I was whooping & hollering like an idiot Oh well. I had fun. It was actually very inspiring to watch. Can't wait for this season!!!!

Just a ps to the tape - My only disappointment was that they didn't talk to the players more. Brady, of course, they talked to several times, but I was surprised they didn't talk to at least Adam. Big year for him It only showed Tedy a couple of times. I'm so Pats deprived!!

Taylor, So glad that you're back to posting... missed you around here!~ I have all of those DVDs and love them too (of course!) We had a great time at The Rack that night for sure! I knew some players were going to be there but Tedy wasn't listed so it was a nice surprise.... I always love to see him! We're heading out to the Red Sox/ Yankees game tonight so that should be a good time too... We have great seats about 5 rows back behind the Sox's dugout. Last time we had those seats, it had rained so the game started late and people began to leave early. I moved up to the front row and Pedro was in a goofy mood... He started throwing sunflower seeds at me! They were bouncing off my chest...( typical guy! LOL) and he was dancing around! Let's hope for a big Red Sox win tonight... and hope I can get some nice pics of my favorite players Johnny Damon and Nomar. Karen
