Is that normal? Or am I just a weirdo? ....don't answer that haha. I'm still so angry/upset over the game. Maybe it's because I live in NY and it's all anyone can talk about? UGHHHHH

OK. So if you guys won't talk to me anymore and I'm cast out from the group, I totally deserve it. Falling off the planet is an understatement as to my involvement here lately, and all I can say is I am SO SO SORRY and I have missed you guys a lot! College was crazy last semester, and every time I wanted to come here, I knew I'd have so many posts to catch up on, and then I would put it off, and, well, here I am! I know there's no way I'm going to catch up with all that's been going on in the past few months, so I hope everyone is healthy and happy and doing well! That being said...I knew there was no other place where people would feel like me right now, and I'm back to you guys. I feel empty and sad when I think about it. After the first night of hysteria and sobbing, I've been able to tone down the waterworks, but it still cuts me like a knife every time I think about it! But obviously, like the rest of you, I'm not giving up on our boys, I'm so proud of them for everything they accomplished this season! Let's just wait until next year...

JESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so good to hear from you: I have been wondering where you have been. It sounds like college life is good so that is good news!! I am surrounded by Giants fans ( & LOTS of PATS haters) here in CT as well so it has been a rough week. the night of the superbowl after the loss my daughter cried all night; she was so heartbroken. like Tru said we need to keep looking forward; can not dwell on this loss. we have to be proud of the boys for all they accomplished this year. it was a good season and an exciting one. sometimes things don't always go the way we planned or would have liked them to go but that is life. and this is one of life's lessons that we can all learn from I guess. I have just been trying to keep busy ; not hard to do with two kids always going in two different directions. spring will be here soon (38 days or so I think) so that is definitely something to look forward to.

Jess...so nice to see you! I thought of you last week when Tom said "Im a one woman man"...he IS yours, isnt he? LOL We will get through this guys, as huge as it feels right now it is just a blip. I think about how many times as a patriots fan I have been so down, and they always give me reason to hope again. I lived through many a year of BAD football. I take great pride, no matter what the haters and pundits say, that OUR team went undefeated in the reg season. NO ONE else can say that. Chin up, all of you.

You're welcome Hi Jess! Oh yes, I was in Niagara mode that night as well. I've just been trying to avoid all media coverage of it ever since. At least I've got my Bruins to keep me occupied. Don't laugh--they're actually sucking slightly less this year . By the way I am totally wearing my funeral dress to church tomorrow--we are in mourning after all . Oh, and I think pitchers and catchers report on Wednesday, lol.

So after another few days I hope everyone is feeling better! I think that this week I've been able to put more perspective on everything and look forward to next year! Argh I hear you guys who are surrounded by Giants fans! There are a bunch of people from NY here and they won't shut up about it! There's a girl in my suite who is a Giants fan and actually got to GO TO THE GAME. I was soooo jealous haha. Oh wellll! And I'm super glad for you Bruins nuts that they seem to be doing better this year! To be honest, I don't really follow it at all, but every time I hear something about them I think of you guys!

Thanks ;D. Yeah they were sucky last year and I think this year they've graduated all the way up to mediocre! lol. It helps that they don't have an idiot for a coach . Our pal Patrice Bergeron is still out with that concussion though .
