I shouldn't be surprised after Tedy gave us 13 awesome seasons as a Patriot, but I must say that I'm shocked and very sad tonight. There is so much to say about Tedy Bruschi that I don't know where to begin. I'll sleep on it and let the anoucement become official at 10:45am est. Monday morning. I will say this though... Thanks Tedy! Thanks for all the memories. My favorite memory from my favorite player... Tedy's interception against the Dolphins in which he walked it into the endzone for a touchdown in a snowy Foxboro. Everyone started (including Tedy) throwing snow into the air. sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4433305

I'm glad you had fun Jess! I'm not sure if anybody else has mentioned this, but you're on Patriots.com's PVN two different times. For those of you who don't know what that is it's a short little show hosted by Brain Lowe highlighting what happened in training camp that day and reports other news for the Patriots. Jess is on there showing off her "Happy B-day Tom" card. Looks like you were having fun. Check it out if you haven't already.

It's a bittersweet feeling for me. I want nothing but the best for Tedy and his family and I'm glad he decided to sit it out. I know he'll be helping the team on the sidelines and in the locker room and thats just fine with me. We'll miss you on the field Tedy! Much love. -NE05- -I don't know about anybody else, but I'm still going to be sporting my number 54 jersey on game days. GO PATS!

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss Karen. I think of our pets as family members and I would be crushed if one left us.
On a more positive note it was good to see you give your dog a warm and loving home for 12+ years. I know it's really hard right now and my thoughts are with your family. Stay strong, Nigel will always be in your hearts.

Count me in as well, I know that putting money towards anything that involves Tedy Bruschi is worth it and I'd hate for this site have any trouble. Thanks for everything you have done and continue to do with this site Karen. J

I think we all have. This just hurts. It's unfair that bad things happen to good people. Just unfair.

I hope you get better soon Tedy! You have a wonderful family at home and a large family of fans hoping you get back to 110%. Whether you get back on the field or not, you have nothing to prove to me anymore, I know you're a GREAT football player. We need you back because I can't imagine us doing this without you. You're an amazing person and you touch all of our lives and I know I'm grateful. You're my hero and I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for everything #54! Go Patriots!!!

That was really cool. It was neat to see some "behind the scenes" photos of some of the guys hanging out.

1. Drew Bledsoe- this guy will never move from the rankings of #1 in my book and will always be my favorite Patriot. He is the reason I became a New England Patriots fan when the team picked him #1 overall in the '93 draft. He pulled this team out of the cellar and I'll miss him and Ben Coates hooking up on passes for TDs... Those are great memories at the old house.(Since he's done in Buffalo, I hope he joins Romeo in Clevelend. I wish them both the best of luck.) Anyways... ;D 1. Tedy Bruschi (Drew Bledsoe) 2. Rodney H. 3. Corey D. Everybody else rocks and its hard to list them after number three because you just love them all. They all are amazing athletes. Go Pats!

Now thats the spirit! Very nice... I took the Brady approach(before he cut it) and grew my hair long and shaggy(for good luck through the playoffs)... I then used some gel to form it into a mohawk to mock Freddie Mitchell. I got pictures, but it'll take a few days to develop and post them. Good stuff tho Beanie!

Eagles played the Pats tough. I just think that the Eagles should have been able to get past our DB's better seeing that the two starters at corner were out and our starting Saftey went down early leaving Rodney out there with the young guys(who played and have played great all season). If both teams were 100% healthy I would say it would have been a rout by the Pats. That wasn't the case... BB just came up with great plan and the guys did just enough on D and Offense to bring back the Trophy. Good game. The thing that makes me feel great about next season is that we will only get better at defense with guys returning from injury. Of course we don't have to think about that for some time now, but it's a good feeling. On a last note about the Eagles and the Super Bowl. I must say I don't like T.O., but I give him mad props for playing a great game esp. on a bad ankle... that was insane and I give him some respect for that.
